Rare are the groups that can say they changed the face of R&B music with the release of just 3 albums. Rarer still are the groups that can say that they are still a staple on radio more than 20 years after their debut. Teddy Riley and the Hall Brothers Damion & Aaron set the gold standard for New Jack Swing in the early 90's. The trio introduced themselves as Guy and quickly gained a following. Signed to the legendary Uptown/MCA imprint the group charted almost from the start and have left us with an indelible legacy of music.
Guy is our 90s artist of the week.
