Welcome Back Family!
This week we introduce or re-introduce
everyone to a new family member who we hope will be coming around the
Brownstone a lot in the future. Some of our more seasoned family
members may recognize this week’s guest from BET’s Teen Summit. Or you
may have read his work in numerous media outlets around the country.
Kenji Jasper has stopped by the stoop this week to have one of the
better conversation that we’ve had in awhile. We touched on topics
ranging from his start in the business, growing up in the DC area in the
80s and 90s, the effect of gentrification in our communities, Jay-Z or
NAS, his new book, and so much more.
